         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first step toward becoming a neurosurgeon  is earning a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Generally, it takes 3-4 years to complete a bachelor's program. You might consider pre-med or a related major, such as biology or chemistry.After completing medical school and successfully obtaining a medical degree, med school graduates must then gain acceptance into a neurosurgery residency training program. There are dozens of accredited neurosurgery residency training programs nationwide. The average length is seven years, with a few programs at six years and many requiring eight years of training.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Angles are the most important part of brain surgery, you can't open up the skull and poke around in every case, you have to calculate where you need to drill through the skull based only on MRI or CT scans, which takes a good deal of math, you also have to account for blood vessels in the area. <br>In addition to that, you might be titrating different drugs to prepare the patient for surgery, which takes a good deal of math. There is calculus involved at times, so you need to know what's going on.  </div>]]></description>
