Victor assaults his investigations with excitement and, overlooking his public activity and his family far away in Geneva, gains quick ground. Entranced by the secret of the making of life, he starts to concentrate how the human body is assembled (life systems) and how it self-destructs (passing and rot). Following quite a while of enthusiastic work, he aces every one of that his educators need to show him, and he goes above and beyond: finding the mystery of life. Secretly, shrouded away in his condo where nobody can see him work, he chooses to start the development of a vitalize animal, imagining the making of another race of great creatures. Ardently dedicating himself to this work, he dismisses all the other things—family, companions, studies, and public activity—and becomes progressively pale, desolate, and fixated.
