         <description><![CDATA[<div>National Heritage Resources Act (Act No 25 of 1999) &nbsp; Purposes: The Act provides general principles for governing heritage resources management throughout South Africa including national and provincial heritage sites, burial grounds and graves; archaeological and palaeontological sites, and public monuments and memorials.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br><br>Relevance to the Proposed Project: South Africa’s heritage resources, also described as the ’national estate’, comprise a wide range of sites, features, objects and believes.
