I think all that matters is if a kid likes what they do. I can see how it is a good thing because it encourages kids to play even if they were't the best on the team and didn't get to play that much. But I can also see how it is bad for them because it is teaching them that even if you do bad at something you get rewarded, when that shouldn't be the truth you should have to work harder and better yourself.
