She was converted  to the christianism. Saint Cecilia wanted to burying martyred christians, but there was ilegal in Rome. Her husband died and she buried him, she also converted many people wich led to being arrested.
acording to the legend roman people tried to martyred her, but it was very difficult; first tried to axphysis her, but didn't affect her, then,they tried to behead her, that even took three days to bleed out and finally dead.
