This is important because allowing people to dissect the human body means we can better study the human body. Having this greater understanding helps doctors figure out what is wrong with patients and because they know which body parts are where and what the functions of each part are.

I believe this is important because the microscope allowed Leeuwenhoek and many others to get a closer look at different thinks such as cells, skin, hair, and other body parts; studying this things closely gives us a better understanding. This invention is important because without it, many signs of serious and non-serious respiratory and heart problems would go undetected and could lead to more damage and future complications. I think this is important because this has helped prevent infection, sickness, and even death. Surgery, although helpful, can came with risks, including the risk of getting an infection due to open wounds and exposed flesh. If it wasn't for this, many patients may suffer needlessly or even die from an infection after surgery because nothing was used to prevent it.
