<title>Naloxone (Narcan) is a lifesaving drug administered in the case of an opioid overdose. Opioids may include heroin, fentanyl, and some prescription drugs. Because addiction and overdosing are such prevalent issues, Narcan is used at no cost to the patient to help save as many lives as possible. However, it is believed by some that people should be charged to avoid enabling addicts. </title>

<title>You should&#39;ve just read a bit of a background about Narcan, so I won&#39;t repeat those details. Using the same logic that explains the free administration of Narcan, it would follow that other lifesaving drugs like Insulin should be free as well. Insulin is used by huge portions of the population and is relied on regularly to save lives, just like Narcan. Some people argue that Insulin is preventative to the outcome of death and not &quot;lifesaving&quot; and should cost money just the same as now. </title>
