There will be a pretest to gauge the understanding of participants' knowledge of autism and communication emailed to participants a week before the workshop's first session. 

Interim Stage
There will be a short quiz after module 1 to determine depth of participant understanding.

Summative Assessment:
There will then be a final assessment to see any growth or change emailed to you within 24 hours of completion of the workshop.

- What neural pathways are used that are different in autistic and neurotypical brains.

Communicating Effectively
- We will discuss how communicative abilities develop as children grow.
- Different ways to word statements to maximize understanding will be presented.
- We will analyze the meaning and purpose of participants examples in communication difficulties with their children,

- We will pair up two participants at a time and discuss the resolutions the roleplayers come to as a class.
