I think the theme is that practice makes perfect.I believe that this would be the theme because of the way the dad struggled with his daughters hair like a wrestling match and failed to complete the task that the daughter wanted. But as she showed him her mothers video he pushed through his defeat and with the video's help the father got the daughter's hair the way she wanted it to be.

believe the theme of “Hair Love” is to never give up even when things get rough throughout life. Giving up would mean giving up on the thing you want in life and not trying harder for the goal you want. The daughter wants her dad to do her hair to see her mother but she wants her hair to look just like it did in one of the videos she made with her mother when she was younger. The father begins and starts to give up on doing her hair but he hears the video playing and listens. The dad begins trying again with confidence and love and he finally gets it right. The father and daughter go to the hospital where the mother has cancer and that is why the daughter wanted to dress up just like she was in the video with her mother. She showed her mother love can last and no matter what the problem is in life people still love you and will stay with you through your problems.

keep trying. Some details from the film is that when the father wanted to give up on doing his

daughter's hair the child was persuading him not to give up. The daughter's hair was tangled

and messed up. The dad was a guy who was willing to try but gave up fast. This story takes

place at their house.

In my opinion, the theme of the “Hair Love” short film is having confidence and never giving up.I think a part of the theme is have confidence because even when she went to see her mother that had lost hair ,u can tell in the film with the facial expressions that she was sad about it because she used to do hair with her daughter when she had hair.When her daughter came and gave her the paper with the crown on her head,she looked like she realized its okay to be bald.A reason why I also think that never giving up is a part of the theme is because when she tried doing her hair and she messed up,when her dad tried and messed up .Even so from the film that he was struggling because he never had to do it because his wife would ,that he felt as he was in a boxing match with her hair.Even after all that they looked at the video and seen how her mom did .So they took it step by step and never gave up.This is why I think the theme is having confidence and never giving up.

I think the theme of the film was the bond between a father and a daughter and the father trying to step up and take on the role of a mother by doing his daughter's hair. While her mother is in the hospital. The video showed the daughter trying to do her own hair but it wasn't working out very well. The dad came into the room and saw his daughter struggling to do a certain hair style on her own so he took the time to help her do the hair style and fought with it for a long time. Before finally getting it done and making his daughter happy.

Another piece of evidence is that she was still very affectionate to her mom, even after seeing her with no hair. called “Hair Love” and she taught her how to do it she messed up her hairstyle her dad saw her

hair and she wanted him to fix it, he was scared and he just put a hat on, zuri started crying and

he didn't like it so she showed him the instruction to do it he got brave and did it. The instructor

was her mom and they went to the hospital to see her and she brought a picture and she liked

her hair.

What I believe is the theme of the film, having the confidence to take on the challenge of

something and not giving up, like the girl's hair in the film. When the dad tried to fix the little girl’s

hair, he just about gave up, since her hair wasn’t easy to brush, and fix up; also, the dad gained

back his confidence when he heard the video playing in the bathroom, this allowed the dad to fix

the girl’s hair towards the end of the film. This falls into how the real world is, because when

people come to a challenge, they just want to automatically give up, without trying or having no

confidence.
