To What extent should this industry be regulated?

The internet should not be regulated, it would be counterproductive to the whole point of the internet, the freest market possible. And considering the internet is an optional market, with regulated markets with in it (like Amazon, Ebay, etc). It is simply unnecessary for a universal market on the internet.

The internet is too sporadic for one company to have such an impact, they cause this mostly because of their monopoly in the high-end shoe market as a whole.

Growth should be measured by a neutral outside source. ( like the UN) Growth should be measure mainly monetary, particularly GDP per capita. It is too unreasonable to try and measure happiness. Also HDI is a very good measurement for quality of life. Community participation could also be a interesting measurement, as typically participating in a very democratic local community improves ones mental health. This is typically associated with the American Dream.

Universal income really is not compatible with humans, we are too individual, if we were more like ants or a hive it would work extremely well , however we are not. Ideally a minimum reasonable income is guaranteed, however, humans should not be limited to it. At the same time however, one should not be allowed to earn immense amounts of money that causes the wealth inequality rival those of serfs and kings.

Getting past all the pointless fluff this presenter put in, this was essential arguing for more collectivism. Her main arguement was that living in a commune is much better mentally than being isolated in a suburban home, she forget however that part of the american dream is participating in the small, closely knit community of a suburban town, to act as that mental boost. Effectively invalidating her argument. America will not become collectivist

60 percent of US public has less than 1000 dollars in savings. To what extent is the US economic system to blame?

Capitalism is not entirely to blame for this, but rather, Credit. The American economy has been driven by money that doesnt exist for a century. Nobody pays for anything, they loan it, or put it on credit. People are not to blame however for not paying for everything upfront. Banks and corporations persuade consumers to go on long term financing plans all the time, whether is be a mortgage for a house, or credit for a good. Corporations find using these tactics on consumers makes them more money in the long run. This toxic credit system in the US makes the economy extremely fragile, and was one of the biggest reasons for the great depression.

50 percent of the US population is considered to be financially illiterate? How would you fix this issue? Does it need a solution?

Yes, it does need a solution. The economic inequalities in modern day America rival those of kings and peasants in the middle ages. The founders of capitalism never intended this, and by nature of freedom and equal opportunity that America and Capitalism preaches so heavily, the class divides should not be so huge. The solution to this could take up a whole novel, but in my opinion, it boils down to one thing: Eliminate all inequalities of opportunity.
