Ti Punch means "small punch," it is a rum drink that is especially popular in Guadeloupe. The drink is made with white rum, lime, and cane sugar. It is served as an apéritif before starting a meal, both as a matter of tradition and because the drink itself is strongly alcoholic.
When it comes to drinking alcohol in Guadeloupe - “chacun prépare sa propre mort” - each prepares his own death. Instead of serving the mixed drink, the host will simply put out the ingredients, and everyone will prepare the drink according to his or her own taste.

Ouzo is a drink that expresses the mentality, the temperament and the philosophy of the daily life of the Greek and it is part of our cultural identity. It is Greece most famous alcoholic beverage.

It’s a strong alcoholic drink similar to a liqueur, a product made out of the distillation of alcohol and aromatic herbs. Apart from anise, herbs commonly used in Ouzo production are fennel, coriander, cinnammon, and many more.

Drinking Ouzo in Greece is a cultural ritual that has its own special time and place, usually in late afternoon or early evening, and always accompanied by small plates of food, such as grilled octopus, prawns, or squid; cheese and meat plates.

It is drunk in a tall, thin glass, with added ice and iced water. As soon as water is added, Ouzo becomes cloudy / milky white, the anise and other aromas are released, and the alcohol content decreases. This turns Ouzo into a long drink, which you can enjoy for hours. However, some people might prefer to drink Ouzo in a shot glass, without any ice or water.

Ouzo is the perfect drink!
