Lamoda.kz is a niche marketplace specializing in clothing and footwear, offering items like dresses, jeans, lingerie, and accessories.

Tomas.kz is Kazakhstan's largest platform known for its competitive prices, frequent promotions, and seller-friendly terms. It collaborates with major online stores and small businesses to boost sales and attract consumers. Offering a diverse product catalog, it facilitates over 560,000 transactions monthly.

Satu.kz is Kazakhstan's leading platform for a variety of goods, from clothing to electronics. Popular items include women's and children's apparel, electronics, construction materials, gifts, and gardening supplies. One in five Kazakh residents’ shops on Satu.kz.

Setting up an account requires a trip to one of the Kaspi branches. You need to bring a printout of your IIN number and passport. American Citizens will be asked to fill out a separate IRS form. Once you have the account activated, you can transfer money to your Kaspi account from your bank and you're good to go!

Kaspi also has a integrated shop ("Magazine") where you can find a wide variety of items. It has no in-app translation, but there are lots of people around who can help you search for things in Russian!

1. Monthly Salary (Net): Your salary will be distributed in twelve even monthly payments starting from August 1 to July 31. Payment should be processed by the 10th of the subsequent month, typically it is disbursed on the final day of each month on your bank card. For overseas staff, salaries are remitted in Tenge (Kazakhstan currency), adjusted according to the current US Dollar exchange rate.

4.    Flights work on reimbursement basis, you can choose to book either one way flight or a round trip flight. The reimbursement will happen in two installments one in August and one in April. Therefore, the one-way flight is likely to be covered in its entirety when you return in August. A round trip flight you are likely to pocket some extra money but not until the second reimbursement in April so depending on your cash situation this can make you the best decision for you. We will give you the following amounts each installment.

5. Work Visa: The school covers one registration per academic year. The transfer-in amount to the migration police is 110,760 tenge (approx. 246 USD), applicable when the school reapplies for the visa.

6. Children's tuition: Up to two children are covered, depending on the program.

7. Paid Sick/Emergency Leave: Employees are entitled to 10 days per year, which do not accumulate.

8. Onboarding Relocation Allowance: Upon arrival, $1500

9. Offboarding Relocation Allowance: A payment of $200

KIS is located in the Esil District (2GIS) near Expo and Astana Financial Center. Many teachers live in or near Mega and Botanical Garden (This is a 10-12 minute drive to KIS without traffic.)

> Heating! The central city heating that connects most buildings in the city is turned on in November and off in May. There is a flat rate for heating during this time. In older flats, you won't have control over the temperature (heat is just "full on") and if you do have access to turn off radiators, it could block the heat to other flats in your building. Confirm with your landlord what control you have over your heating. If you do NOT have any control, look at what air conditioning you have as the flats can get Very Warm and as the air quality in the winter is quite bad, you may not be comfortable opening the windows.
