I graduated from ASU with a degree in Sociology in 2012. I have always wanted to be a teacher, and I finally realized I could no longer hide from this fact part way into my degree. I came to Arizona from Poland at the start of 5th grade and I had a few great teachers here that helped me learn English and get accustomed to this new culture. I will never forget those teachers and I hope to give that same helping hand to my students one day. I am married to my high school sweetheart who is also a teacher and I've seen first hand how tough the first couple years of teaching can be. Seeing these difficulties has made even more resolute in taking in as much information as possible to be prepared for the tough yet so rewarding career. I am excited about this journey and I can't wait to get into the class to practice and hone my skills!
