- Warm-up

(5 mins) Hello Song & Flashcard Introduction
The teacher leads a familiar "Hello" song. Then, the teacher holds up large flashcards of different weather types (sunny, rainy, cloudy, windy, snowy) and says each word. Students repeat chorally.

- Main Lesson

(20 mins) Vocabulary & Grammar Drill
Vocabulary: Students practice the weather words by repeating after the teacher. The teacher holds up each flashcard and says the word.
Grammar: The teacher introduces the sentence structure "It's a [weather word] day." Students practice this in a call-and-response drill with the teacher.
Guided Practice: Students work in pairs. Using the flashcards, one student asks, "What's the weather like?" and the other student shows a card and says, "It's a [weather word] day." The teacher monitors and corrects pronunciation.

(10 mins) Weather Drawing
Each student gets a piece of paper and crayons. The teacher says a weather word (e.g., "sunny"), and the students draw a picture of a sunny day. They then write the word "sunny" at the bottom of the page. Students can share their drawings with a partner.

(5 mins) Weather Review Song

- Warm-up

(5 mins) Daily Weather Check-in
The teacher greets students and asks, "What day is it today?" and "What's the weather like today?" The teacher points to a window or a picture to help. Students respond with single words or simple phrases like "Sunny!" or "Windy!"

- Main Lesson

(20 mins) Active Learning & TPR
Vocabulary: The teacher introduces weather words using flashcards but also pairs them with actions (e.g., "It's sunny" - make a circle with your hands; "It's rainy" - tap your fingers like rain). Students copy the actions and words.
Grammar: The teacher leads a Total Physical Response (TPR) game. The teacher says a weather word, and students have to do the corresponding action. For example, "It's snowy!" and students pretend to shiver and make snowballs.
Guided Practice: In small groups of 3-4, students get a set of flashcards and pretend to be weather reporters. They take turns showing a card and saying, "Today in [city name], it's [weather word]!"

(10 mins) "How Are You?" Role-play
The teacher gives each student a flashcard with a weather word and an emotion (e.g., "rainy" and "sad," "sunny" and "happy"). Students stand in a circle and pass a ball to one another. When a student catches the ball, they must say a weather word from the lesson before passing it to the next person.
