Memorable Experience: I don't remember much but my mom told me that I loved dressing up!

Memorable Experience: Learning how to do a handstand and front flip in the pool.

Fun Fact: I was 7 months old when I first started walking. My mom told me she was amazed at how I crawled, sat up, and walked at a young age.

Memorable Experience: Doing fun and adventurous activities with my parents, such as zip lining, wall climbing, and rappelling. I wanted to do more but they had age and height requirements for the more thrilling activities.

I was excited about it at first, but then I did not want to be pressured to swim. I treated swimming as a relaxing thing to do, and I realized that if I made it my sport, I would have to take it seriously. In short, I did not grab the opportunity to be able to train for swim tournaments.

My parents wholeheartedly supported my decision. I'm so lucky!

Memorable Experience: Going to Baguio and Manila with my friends. Travelling a lot with my Taekwondo team

Being an older sister is the best feeling ever!

I learned how to soothe him, make him laugh, annoy, and tease him. At first, I didn't want a sibling, but now, I would love and protect him with everything I have.

In Personal Development, I learned more about myself, especially while making the career roadmap. Through mapping out my future, I realized that I do not want to spend that much time studying, but at the same time, pursuing my dream profession would give me a sense of fulfillment. The lessons on mental health, stressors, and the powers of the mind really stood out to me since it unknowingly made me reflect on the habits and feelings that I have. During my mental health discussion, while reading through the handouts, I realized that I may need professional help with how I process and deal with things. I brought it up to my parents, and we are now looking for a psychologist who may make sense of the unexplainable feelings that I am facing. Through the topic, I learned that I should not keep things to myself and I should confide in trusted companions to help me with the things that I am facing. Additionally, I learned to be more grateful for the things that I have, especially my family and loved ones. Although there are some arguments and misunderstandings, we still choose to love and care for each other all the time. Relationships and love are one of the greatest gifts of all; therefore, we must deeply cherish it.

Overall, PerDev has had a significant impact on me, not just as a student but as a person too. I can say that my top 3 favorite topics are: Love, Relationships, and Mental Health. I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to study this subject during my confused adolescent years. It somehow validated my feelings and highlighted the habits that need to be changed in order for me to grow as a person. Although the time has come to bid farewell to the subject of Personal Development, the lessons I have learned in this subject will forever be instilled in my mind.
