Data storage devices include objects such as Hard Disk, DVD and Blu Ray and their storage capacity is recorded in bytes (byte, kilobyte, megabyte, gigabyte and terabyte). They also come as internal and external storage devices. Internal storage devices are found inside the computer, and external storage devices are inserted into the computer. Computer memory is measured in bytes. 8 bits make up one byte. One byte can store one character, e.g. 1 LETTER.
