G5 teachers familiarise with IB Exhibition (read IB docs, explore various resources, discuss with HOS/PYPC);

Prepare drafts for Teacher Mentor, Student Mentor and Parent invites - PYPC

Invite letter for Student Mentors (15th Feb session) to be shared with MYPC- PYPC;

Invite for Parents' Session (21st Feb) to be sent

HW- Students write a reflection about their initial thoughts on Exhibition

Inform Ms Shubhangi and Ms Mercy about their sessions. Give clear guidelines on the requirements.

PPT for Parent Session to be ready by 17th Feb

The facilitator will explain the process of the exhibition to the parents.

MYP learners will share their PYP Exhibition experience with the grade 5

ICT session: A session on designing with ICT skills by Ms. Mercy.(30 minutes)

Session on assessment

What does assessment feel like, sound like and look like.

Learners will then work together in their selected groups to delve into areas of personal interest for their PYP exhibition research.

Learners will work towards framing their inquiry questions keeping the key concepts in mind with the guidance of their mentors.

Learners will discuss their research findings from last week’s session, and construct the central idea for their inquiry.

Building Lines of Inquiry

Learners will be actively involved in constructing lines of inquiry through collaborative planning, exploration, and thorough research.

Making connections to unit elements

Learners will work in their groups and keeping in mind their central idea and lines of inquiry, they will make connections with the IB elements such as ATL Skills, learner profiles, etc.
