My family was my biggest support through this time as it was very hard to go through it alone. I recently got engaged to my fiancé and he was a big help through it all, I don’t know if I would be here today without all there help and support. Also, my therapist helped me overcome many of my problems still today as I went through a tough time. 

What I learnt from this experience is to reach out to people when something isn’t right, and you are being affected online especially if they are hurtful comments. No one should go through anything alone so getting help is the best thing you can do. Trying to resolve it alone hurts even more and can become a very dark and lonely place.   

My advice for students today would be to think before you do something, like would you want to be treated the way you treat others by calling them mean names and dark threats to someone you barely know. Treat others how you want to be treated even if its in person or behind a computer screen it doesn’t matter who you are. 

How I am copying with cyberbullying and having a huge following is hard because your always in the limelight no matter what you do and can be judged and put down by anything you do. So yes, its hard but the best way I am copying is through being myself and seeking help when I need it most.
