We are seeing rising COVID cases throughout the school with teachers being more effected than students; with Fair this past week I am anxiously awaiting more cases and what decisions District leadership will make.

My case study student is consistently absent, with excused absences due to illnesses. I'm not sure if she's actually sick or what is going on. I plan to seek supervision on how best to handle this topic with her. This lands in the Bad column due to not being able to see her when I am there. I might need to chose a new Case Study student, however she is one of the main students I am working with.

I am struggling with keeping up with assignments. I recently started a new part time clinical counseling position and not having those two days to work on school work has been difficult. Needless to say the balance between: course work, school/internship, work, and home/personal life has become complicated and hard. Add onto this my technology issues.

What makes this all hard is that I LOVE working at my school. I know this is what I am meant to do. Getting through the tasks of course work is what drags on me mentally. (I know I sound like some of the students I see/will see in the future).

I specifically completed this assignment before others because it was an outlet for me to express these feelings.

As I mentioned in the Ugly section, this goal has been difficult. I saw progress in the first few weeks, then obstacles and life became a factor. Things I couldn't plan for.
I want to be forgiving, but getting back on track is hard.

Strategies that I have previously given students to use: chunking time, taking breaks, etc. don't work for me.

I came to the realization that I have had undiagnosed ADHD since I was younger. But I always find a way to get done what needs to be done in order to get a good enough grade.

I wish I could say I have a plan to get back on track, but I don't. There aren't enough hours in a day. I am going to get done what I can, and continue to work at getting everything done.

I am not able to attend the AOCC, but have been looking for other Professional Development webinars.

In my search for podcasts I discovered a personal growth podcast called We Can Do Hard Things with Glennon Doyle. While this does not add to this goal or my professional identity, it has been great for me personally.

If you have any suggestions on School Counselor based podcasts, please let me know!

I want to create a document of sorts with the Similarities/Differences/Ethics/etc. between LPSC and LPC, (with what time I don't know, but I would enjoy seeing this laid out in a structured format).
