1. - Serious because women seem to shop so much, they like shopping. Men shop less -> the differences about the shopping between gender. Yes, I agree because women usually compare the quality and price of the product in a store with other stores when they decide to buy sth but men doesn’t, women tend to buy everything at once while men just wants to buy which they intended to buy 2. - Women influence family finance, they often decide what to buy and men will pay for these items. - Many women also like window-shopping, they just want to see and touch items. Men think it’s time-wasting

1) It is intended to be humorous. Still, in real life, this stereotype does not always hold water. 2) The tiltle mostly means : Men only buy what they need, while womean actually take a lot of time to find the proper goods that fit them well.

1. In my opinion, the above picture is serious rather than humorous. It sheds a light on how men and women manage shopping, shows the different ways of shopping between males and females. While men simply go into the mall to buy things they need, women wander all of the shelves, observe products, and eventually they go to buy necessities. Women seems to cost much more time than men, which sometimes causes frustrated, impatient, especially wasting time. However, on the other hand, they know the mall and compare prices well, that men could not notice about cause they just pass by. Therefore, I do think it makes the real point about the difference in how men and women shop.2. I think this title most likely means discussing about how men and women shopping. The professor wants to define way men and women would act if they go to the mall. Seemingly, it shows that men prefer the fastest way to achieve goal, women otherwise prefer taking the scenic route. + Men buy needs.+ Women shop: everything

It's just a joke ! If you look closely the women's line actually does go out of the shop, which is unreal (which is the point of the joke). However, it still does make a point about how women shop vs how men shop. Men prioritizes time over product quality, which makes it clear that their path will be short and quick. On the other hand, women prioritize quality product over time, spending as much time as need to find the best bargains and quality products. (Still, I think this falls into a "stereotype" kind of comparison, as not all men nor women act like the each other)

1. The topic truly enlightens us about the differences between the way men and women appear in shopping: men tend to be particular about the features of a product they want to buy. They actually pay less attention to special offers or brands. The interesting point is that they see anything they need, they'll buy it no matter what. On the other hand, women appear to be relatively picky when it comes to shopping. They usually analyse the values and select their product of choice according to that after pondering for a while. Sometimes the choice is the result of many advices before that. Moreover, special offers, discounts are always women's fav pray. They will seek for those whenever and wherever they are.

2. To me, "Men buy, women shop" means
- Men go shopping to pick up what they truly want or need, no matter what
- Women go shopping to pick up what they like according to many factors such as appearance, smell, advices, duration, discount....
