         <title>Snow day!</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Tonight I took my dog out and realized it was snowing AND raining. I found it interesting that it could rain and snow at the same time. What was even more interesting was that the snow would accumulate on the ground, but the rain would immediately melt it. It made me wonder... How can it rain and snow at the same time? Why does the snow melt when the rain hits it? How can snow accumulate in some areas and not another area?</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A photographer in Virginia snapped a stunning picture of a bird singing a melody in the cold. As the bird sings, you can see the condensation rings from their breath. When I first saw it, I thought wow that is incredible! Then I started to wonder, how can we see their breath? At what temperature is their toon visible?</div>]]></description>

         <title>Freezing point</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>It’s a snow day! The temperature is 14 F with a wind chill of -1 F. Today I figured that I would try to see the freezing point of water. I had filled a balloon with some water and nestled it in snow. After 10min I checked on it and it still isn’t frozen. Wonder question: We know that 32 F is freezing point so why did it not freeze? How long will it take for the water in the balloon to freeze? Is it not freezing because it’s in a balloon or is it just not cold enough to freeze? </div>]]></description>

         <title>Hot ice</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I was scrolling through TikTok when I saw a guy sticking his hand in clear liquid. When he sticks his hand in it, the liquid freezes around it. The guy states that the clear liquid is supersaturated sodium acetate (hot ice) and it freezes (or nucleuses) as soon as something triggers it. So sticking your hand or an object in the liquid will cause the hot ice to freeze. However, the liquid freezes around the object rather than freezes the object itself.&nbsp;<br><br>Wonder question: why does it freeze around an object? Why does it freeze when triggered? How can a liquid become a solid so quickly? Is it hot since it’s called hot ice? What purpose does hot ice serve (in real world context)?</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In this picture, the sun is rising in a pink-ish red shade but it’s not a full crescent.&nbsp; The top picture is the sun in a partial eclipse, meaning that the moon covered only a small part of the sun. Meanwhile the bottom picture is what the sun looks like after the eclipse. During the eclipse, the covered part of the sun created what would resemble as horns.&nbsp;<br><br>Wonder question: what causes a partial eclipse? How often do they happen? On average, Oklahoma has 57 tornados during spring time (according to weather.gov).&nbsp;Since spring has the most tornados on average, it is considered tornado season, with may being the highest number of tornados recorded.<br><br>What causes a tornado?          <description><![CDATA[<div>For Easter, my family had scrambled eggs for breakfast. As we cooked it, my son said "where is the egg?" so it got me thinking about how materials can change through heating and cooling. Is an egg still in an egg form when it is cooked?
