Nate's recommendation to not ask about pronouns and avoid them entirely if you don't know seemed out of line with everything else I've heard (from other non-binary people), so I'm curious how much of that is just their personal preference/not a generalized experience

I was given the words I can say to stand up for those who are hurt by prejudice.

Thinking about the range of gender identity similarly to thinking about neurodiversity (ex. autism ranges), --that gender presents differently (internally and externally) and just as we accept the range of autism, we should we open to and fight for inclusion and support of the range of gender identity and sexuality in broad terms

I'm not sure I would combine gender issues with disability/neurodivergence. Although there is an overlap, I think they are separate issues and I worry about conflating them. Also some of the material was gone through so quickly, a little more time on some topics would have been helpful.

How much more that I don't know and still need to know. Never really had a place to talk these questions through, and the distract, delay, etc. was really helpful to think about cuz there isn't only one option (confront), which can be scary and keeps from being an ally

I'm curious about safety. I'm very used to the overt forms of racist actions and people's survival responses (ex. the "talk"), or code switching, etc. but I'd like to understand how I might better know how to be helpful as I think I might be missing the signals that call for allies to come forward.

How to work with parents of potentially very young (0-6 yo) LBGQT+ children, that is, with not so verbal or children that don't have the life experience to express how they feel, is there ways to support families in keeping open mind, and helping their child's caregivers/chidlren's friends' families to resist the bully, nurture the exploration without self censorship and with ease? Any tips?
