Question: If I have 16 cookies how many cookies does each person get?
Answer: 2 cookies

My fraction: 2/16

I got 2/16 as my answer because I had a total of 16 cookies so I put 16 on the bottom. And each friend got two cookies so I put 2 on the top.

When I was at home my family was ordering pizza. We had to split the pizza between the four of us. I told my family I could split it evenly between us and they allowed me to. Each person got 3 slices of the 12 slices of pizza.
