How does climate change affect our lives?

For me, answering this question is going to be giving a very extensive explanation, because since I am currently in my last semester of my major, we had to choose a specialty and I chose the specialty of alternative technologies, which is focused on studying ways to obtain renewable energy and desalinization, which is removing salt from water, so what relationship does one thing have with the other? To begin with, climate change caused the average ambient temperature to increase, melting the poles and causing the sea level to rise, creating floods in many places, especially in coastal cities, which have had to make infrastructures to protect a complete city and even tend to move a whole city.

Even affecting the ocean, both flora and fauna, since the sea has to have a basic pH and excess carbon dioxide emissions have made the sea tend to be acidic, killing thousands of animals and making animals sick that remain, many of which we end up eating, causing a chain of diseases in human beings.

In addition, affecting the terrestrial flora and fauna even more, which take even longer to adapt to the constant change that can occur in the world due to this change in climate, especially that many tourist areas due to their natural beauty are no longer visited as much. that they lose their beauty with sudden changes in weather

Above all, the fact of saline intrusion, since the little drinking water that we terrestrial beings have to consume is being affected because terrestrial water is combined with sea water due to the exploitation of aquifers. I see all this in my subject of desalinization since we study and improve all those processes to be able to remove the salt from seawater.

So, climate change has made us evolve everything we know about the world so far, in order to survive this change and, above all, stop it.

Resolutions and achievements

To begin with, I am going to talk about my achievements so far. I was very proud of myself for being the best student in elementary school, I finished middle school with a 9.8 grade point average and when I finished high school, even though I struggled a lot, I managed to get a 9.6 grade point average. In addition, I was a person who constantly received academic awards for having very good grades, but in high school all that was very different and I never received any, until my last semester when I succeeded in obtaining the third place in academic awards. Later in college I succeeded twice in obtaining the High Academic Achievement Scholarship.

Another achievement that was very important for me is that I succeeded twice in exempting the accreditation of English levels.

At the moment I have several purposes, which are no longer based on obtaining academic recognition, but on not being so demanding with myself in school, since that caused me problems in my health, both physical and mental.

Lately my main resolutions are to be kinder to myself and work on my self-esteem, exercise, be kinder to others, learn to deal with other people's bad comments and above all to improve my anxiety and stress management.
