They used more than 14 million tons of explosives. Thats twice the ammount of bombs america had dropped during WW2 all on an area not much bigger than california. These bombs killed many, many civilians, but it gets worse. America dropped several different types of chemical weapons such as Napalm. These chemicals removed vegetation, farm land, villages and humans.
