Terrorism first started in Sudan in the 1990s when Osama bin Laden attacked Egypt against president Hosni Mubarak. In 1998, the terrorist group, al-Qaeda, blew up the American embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam. The US attacked Afghanistan and bombed a chemical plant in Sudan to get back at al-Qaeda. The terrorist are active in Europe and attacked a train in Spain that interact with North African people in Europe, which causes them both to be victims in the terrorist bombing. After 9/11 happened, the US started to focus on terrorist in Africa and sent troops to the continent.

Islamic terrorist attacked Sousse beach on June 26 killing 38 people before he was killed by a police officer. They also attacked a military base the same day in East Africa, killing about 30 soldiers. They made allies with ISIS in November 2014, the same week they killed hundreds of people in Nigeria and terrorized villages South of it. Some are even killing innocent civilians trying to get power from the weak and the divided governments so that they will be able to control large territories of land. Islams are kidnapping people to try to make the governments do something about it.

Some parts of Africa may never be at peace because of terrorism. Some people would not want to come over while terrorism and the war is going on. If a government was looking for a new continent to settle on, they would bypass Africa because of the war and conflicts that are going on. They forced little kids to become one of them and to shoot or kill innocent people. People go missing and are never seen again. People are in poverty and don't know what is going on because they cannot afford schooling and can't get information about terrorism.

People will live in fear and will be forced to leave their homes, causing a refugee crisis. Africa would never become a developed country because of all the terrorist attacks which destroy towns and villages. The children would only learn how to shoot guns, killing their friends and families. They will never learn life skills or how to improve their country, but threatening the security of the people's safety. In Pakistan, people are looking toward violent actions since the terrorist are kidnapping and killing innocent civilians. The people are tired of all the wars and just want peace to come to their country and home.

The US is currently sending military soldiers over to Africa. The U.S. is also getting allies with other countries to try to help stop the violence. They are also training the military to operate missions in the Sahel desert. The government is working with the African presidents and prime ministers to help immediate threats and to get security for all the people in Africa. They are trying to make the military stronger along with the law enforcement. The government is trying to build up global partnership and provide partner support to confront the terrorist groups.

My solution to terrorism is to have at least two or more military soldiers at every village to train the people on how to protect themselves and their families from terrorists. The soldiers should also give them information about what the terrorist groups are doing and how they could help to stop them. The soldiers should teach them hand to hand combat and show them how they can use the tools they have for farming as weapons against terrorist. The government should get better security for the civilians and some place safe they could go for the time being. They should also send relief workers down with food and fresh water to give to the people and to help out with the sick and injured people.
