The women’s partylist will be represented by the former Kabataan Legislator and Gabriela’s first nominee, Sarah Jane Elago and is set to enter the House after the increase in allocation of seats.

Citing the constitutional requirement of Partylist System Act (RA 7941), which is 20%, the allocated seats for the congress from 63 which is equivalent to 19% is now raised to 64, accounting for 20% enough for compliance with the constitution.

In line with this, the Duterte Youth Partylist left the seat vacant last June after the cancellation of its registration for violating election rules in spite of securing a seat in Halalan 2025.
