         <description><![CDATA[<p>When I am really stressed out I turn to my dog. I could walk her, pet her, or talk to her and I find that it helps to calm me down and feel better. I went through a period of really bad health during covid-19 (I had chemotherapy), and she helped me to feel less alone and afraid. Talking to her, and just getting my feelings or thoughts out, also helps me to feel heard and not judged. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>“I Spy” might seem like a simple game many of us played growing up, but I recently learned it can actually help reduce stress and anxiety. The game is usually played by choosing a colour or an item and asking others to find it. For example, someone might say, “I spy something black,” and the other players look around to guess what it is. You can also play this game alone.</p><p>What makes this game helpful is the focus it requires. When you concentrate on finding the item or colour, your mind shifts away from whatever is causing stress. Even taking a few minutes to focus on something simple in your environment can give your mind a short break and help you feel calmer.</p><p>It may sound small, but this simple activity can be surprisingly effective. I’ve tried it myself during stressful moments, and it actually helped me pause and reset for a few minutes.</p>]]></description>
