I read a book about octopuses and how they lived in the ocean. It dies when it lays eggs in the ocean.It loses its tentacles when it gets hurt but it grows again.It squirts ink on its enemies.It only lays eggs once a year. I learned a lot about octopuses in this book!

The main characters in this book are Amelia Bedelia, her mom, and her dad. Amelia is planning the layout of a zoo on a big sheet of paper at school.  The other kids in her class made suggestions about animals to bring to the zoo.   Amelia has a very creative mind.

A few days later, the family took a road trip to Rome, Italy.  Amelia asked over and over again, "Are we there yet?" She was involved in lots of mischief on the way to the airport.

I thought this book was hilarious.
