During whole groups the teacher may split the children up in partners or groups. During a lesson the teacher will ask the children to get in their groups, think about what she has introduced, and together they can go over the content. The teacher then may ask the children to share what they have come up with as a group. Many times children who might not have understood exactly what the teacher might have explained, hearing it from their peers will help them grasp the material more efficiently.
