- The Personal Development subject was really helpful for me. During our time in the subject and our numerous reflection/sharing moments in class, I was able to fully realize things about myself that I wasn't able to fully realize myself. A moment I remember was during our topic about stress, wherein I realized that most of the habits I considered as "normal" were quite unhealthy. Another time was during the topic about emotions, where I was able to fully conceptualize and realize how to process my emotionals and to have the self-awareness to realize that I felt like I was disconnected from emotions as a whole.

2. What were your key takeaways from the subject?

   - My keytakeaways from the subject include understanding that I have to know my strenghts and weaknesses to be able to grow as a person, I need the self-awareness to see what I lack and the humility to be able to admit my shortcomings and improve from them. I also learned the importance of emotional intelligence, usually on online discourse people throw around the term without fully understanding what it means to be emotionally intelligent, throughout my time in PerDev, I realized that I was also lacking on the emotional intelligence side of my person and that I should strive to improve my understanding of that topic. Lastly, I learned the value of knowing one's core identity, I learned the importance of knowing what my interests, values, and personality are in order to fully understand myself and how I can continue to improve and grow as a person.

3. What two topics were your favorites and why?

   - My two favorite topics were "Knowing Oneself" and "Mental Health and Well-Being". I enjoyed the topic "Knowing Oneself" as it helped me put value on the things I already knew, it helped me understand that the things I was thinking about or doing was something that I should have put value on and that I should better understand myself, the topic itself also helped me gain a better understanding on how I should look at myself and how I am able to influence my own growth through better understanding. I also think "Mental Health and Well-Being" put me in the same boat, although I realize now that I don't have any mental issues, it helped me realize that the things I was going through in the past was reason for concern, and it helped me appreciate the support system I have around me, that I was able to fully recover without having to see a therapist or any liscensed professional.
