All language learners benefit from connecting the written word with speech. Listening and reading along helps the student to connect the two. Learning/reinforcement language development theory applies in this case. Reading a book aloud is also a great way to explore new vocabulary and topics with students that may be too advanced for them to approach independently.</div>]]></description>
