Furthermore, the most is in interphase, and the second phase is prophase, and the third most is telophase rather than metaphase; It does not go in order.
- Remaining questions: Why does an onion root tip cell spend the time in the order it does ( why more time in telophase than metaphase or anaphase, etc...); Why is the difference of time between interphase and the others so much?; What does spending this much time in each stage do to the onion root tip cell?
- How I performed: I was kinda inexperienced with looking in a microscope and identifying the stages of mitosis, yet I was still able to do my work and identify the stages, so I think that I performed pretty well considering my inexperience.
