Yesterday I dug a small hole in the ground.  It was in an area next to a brick wall in my backyard.  Look what I found!  Three different larva buried in the soil!  I knew they were alive because each time I touched them they moved.  I made this video to show you what I found.  Afterwards, I covered them back up with soil.  Are you as curious as I am?  Why do you think a larva would choose to live underground? What do you think? Play this video clip several times and make observations.  Each time ask yourself:  "What do I see?  What do I wonder?"  What questions do you have?
