Description:

Al-Diwan Kindergarten, I teach two classes, KG 2-4 and KG 2-6. In the first week of training, Mondays and Tuesdays were online due to weather conditions and rain. I was not given sufficient opportunity to perform my work during the first week. The training day began on February 14, 2024.

Feelings:

In the beginning, when the study began on Wednesday, and it was my first day filled with tension, fear, and conflicting feelings, I was thinking about how I would meet MST and how I would introduce myself.

Evaluation:

The first week was good and I tried to start working immediately because I missed a lot during the two days. I met with the MS and told her about my responsibilities during this training and what it requires me to do.

Analysis:

Meeting with MST and meeting her was an essential and important thing. After the meeting, I felt comfortable because she welcomed me and said that she would do everything in her power to help me and cooperate with me. She welcomed me to the students and introduced me to the teachers and students.

Conclusions:

In short, I learned the method of activities, the method of teaching them, and the classroom environment, and I also learned about the working hours of teachers and students. I noticed that I was in the right place and the right environment to support me in achieving my goals and explaining lesson plans.

Action Plan:

Next week I will teach at least three sessions/lesson plans. I make the bags myself and achieve at least two professional goals.

Description:

The second week: During this week, I completed most of my requirements and taught three classes. On Thursday, I went with the students on a trip to Qasr Al-Ain.

Feelings:

The feelings were very good and I felt accomplished when I explained the lessons and achieved two goals. I was also extremely excited when I went on a trip with the students.

Evaluation:

The second week was full of activities and evaluations by MST. I enjoyed the students’ love and engagement with me. At this moment, I felt happy because the students began to love the classes I taught them. Controlling the students during class time was excellent, but I must reduce the hours of sitting on the carpet.

Analysis:

On Wednesday, I joined a meeting with the English language teachers, and I saw and got the idea of how I, as a student teacher, could plan lessons and choose the lesson outcomes from the ministry’s curriculum, but in a smart way. This week, I began to get used to the school, the teachers, and the students.

Conclusions: In short, I learned the method of activities, the method of teaching them, and the classroom environment. I also got to know the teachers and students and focused on building a strong relationship with them, the school community, and parents. I noticed that the environment was positive and Ms. T.’s comments to me during the explanation made me adhere to this skill and love it more.

Action Plan: Next week, I will put an opening video for the lesson because I took this note from MST. There should be a video at the beginning of the lesson and there should be activities and games.

Description:

The third week. This week, the school and all the teachers were busy preparing for the Science Festival, in which they were hosting several schools for the Diwan Kindergarten. I was participating in this important event and beautiful event. I had a special corner for my experience that I chose for the Science Festival.

Feelings:

The feelings were very good and I felt accomplished when I explained the lessons and achieved most of the professional development goals. I was also more excited when I had the opportunity to participate.

Evaluation:

The third week was full of activities, experiments, and science. I had explained an assessment to the MST at the beginning of the week on Monday, and then from Tuesday to Friday, the English language teachers were not teaching the students on these days because they were busy with experiments and receiving... Students.

Analysis:

I learned how I, as a future teacher, could organize an event and an important event for a large number of students at all levels and stages of study.

Conclusions:

In the end, I learned the most important skill among the teachers, which is the skill of cooperation. I cooperated with the rest of the English teachers to arrange and prepare the corners and boards. I wanted to explain a lesson in my corner to the students I teach.

Action Plan:

Next week, I will prepare for the lesson plan because I will be evaluated by MCT and I must put all my effort and focus into the effectiveness of the lesson and prepare for the activities, including differentiation activities.

In the fourth week, this week I had an evaluation by MCT on March 4 and attended an IDM event in Al Ghadeer Kindergarten on March 5.

The feelings were very good and I felt accomplished when I explained the lessons and achieved most of the professional development goals. I was also more excited when I had the opportunity to participate in the IDM event.

Evaluation:

The fourth week was full of activities, experiments, and science, and I had accomplished and come close to achieving all the goals and all the actions for the PDP goal.

Analysis:

I learned how I, as a future teacher, can organize an event and an important event for a large number of students at all levels and stages of study, and how I can develop myself through the observations I hear around me in order to learn, develop, and make it good.

Conclusions:

Action Plan:

Next week I will achieve the last goal of the PDP, which is organizing a morning play in the morning assembly, and training the children. I will also attend a simple celebration among the teachers on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and the initiative is to give each other a gift (which means every teacher must bring a gift on the occasion of the month of Ramadan, and a random drawing will be made, and the teacher will give her gift to the other teacher, and so on).

The fifth week. This week, there were no students to study, and the first day of Ramadan was March 11. This week, I was keen to complete the training assignments and complete the projects.

Feelings:

This week was tiring and I went through a lot of challenges and new decisions. My feeling during this week was exhaustion and tension.

Evaluation:

The fifth week was a challenge for me because I was trying to complete the rest of the accumulated things and start preparing the presentations.

Analysis:

I learned how to work under pressure and how I can be patient and renew my energy in order to accomplish more and more.

Conclusions:

In the end, I accomplished and learned what it means to work under pressure and how I can make plans in order to complete my burdens and work.

Action Plan:

In the week that we will work after Eid, I will explain the latest observation by MCT, I will continue my teaching career, bid farewell to the students and teachers, and submit my projects.

Description:

In the sixth week, the students attended on Monday, but there were many absences because it was after vacation, after Monday, the study was online due to weather conditions and rain, and I conducted my last observation in the Teams program with MCT.

Feelings:

At the beginning of the explanation, I felt nervous and afraid because it was the first time I was explaining a lesson plan without students and it was online, but I went through a series and felt that the situation was better and better when the teaching was face-to-face.

Evaluation:

The lesson plan was clear and precise, useful to the students, and contained all the evidence that could help the teacher.

Analysis:

After evaluation and discussion (MCT), I learned that I had to develop technology activities so that I would be ready if such a situation occurred, and that students benefit more from attending school than if it was online.

Conclusions:

I noticed that it is difficult to explain a lesson plan that I developed because it is in line with my principles in education and my method of studying. Every person may differ in the lesson plan, but what I concluded is that explaining the lesson plan without students is a very boring and uninteresting activity, unlike when students are present.

Action Plan:

In the next lesson, I will include differentiation activities, and I will make sure the lesson plan is clear and precise. The note that I also took from (MCT) is that I should do more technology activities and include a link to the PowerPoint and the evaluation tool. In addition, I reduce time on the mat because a student may not sit on the mat for more than 15 minutes.
