They rinsed us with cold water to wash away our saltiness, then brought us a beautiful white rice mixed with fragrant herbs. It carried with it the flavors of parsley, mint, dill, and lemon. They started stuffing us, one after another, then gently folded our sides, and rolled us into little cylinders.

They arranged us in a deep pot like an army of little soldiers, and placed bones, onions, and garlic beneath us to be our cushion.

Then the real adventure began!

A magical broth made of water, lemon, and oil was poured over us. They lit a fire beneath us until the water boiled, then they lowered it and let us cook on a gentle heat for a full hour.

And as we were in the warm darkness, the miracle happened: our flavors blended with the rice and herbs, and we transformed into a delicious dish called "Stuffed Grape Leaves"!

Now we are ready on the table, waiting for someone to eat us and say, "Bon Appétit!" 🍃😊
