I have been making art almost everyday for 4 (almost 5) years and I am still not as good as I want to be. Art also requires you to be very patient, you are not good at anything the first time you try it.

This relates to my theme because many people immediately assume that being able to make art is something you are born with. To ensure that I practice everyday I spend about 5 minutes drawing faces. Each face I draw only takes about 20 seconds from start to finish and although it does not take long it is still art and it is helping me get better in one way or another.

This relates to my theme because it shows that even though I am good at making art, I do not have to spend hours trying to perfect my art. Although the art I make when frustrated does not look good, it makes sense and it explains how I was feeling at the time without using any words. When I first started making art while frustrated I would throw it away shortly after because I considered it "bad" but there is no bad art, nor is there good art.

This relates to my theme because it shows that art can be anything, there are no requirements. You don't have to make "perfect" art to count it as art.
