 She Was born a slave and owned by a man named Charles Hardenbergh. She was one of twelve children, she was traumatized by the others being sold. When she was nine Charles died and she was sold to a cruel farmer named John Neely but her father arranged for to be sold to an innkeeper but was sold three times in one year.
