I was reflecting on letting be things that one can not in control. How to make a good judgement of what one can and can't control? How to make sure that those around you (especially at work in project management worl where control is a a key element) do not perceive you as relaxed, laid back and not being in control? The way I interpret it is that one should still put as much effort as possible to achieve the goals/purpose and then if this still does not fly then let it be and more importantly not to take it into the soul and thougts after letting be.

As we have discussed there is some discomfort in yogic poses, claustrophobic feelings, painful back while meditating crossed legged for long periods of time etc. How much of it is detachment from the pain and witnessing it and when would you consider that to be violence towards the self and decide to take a break? What would the thought process surrounding this look like?

Hi yogis. I can see there is silence this week. Maybe time to break it? 😊 I have been reflecting about 4 phases in yogis' life. Actually it was a nice "surprise" to me to see that phases are so conventional or western like. I had this weird believe before that yogis is someone who does not fit into conventional life standards. Now knowing these phases I'm being reassured that I might be on the right path. Also I enjoyed finding out more about Ganesha. He has actually sent me some obstacles to overcome last week and it is a releave to think that these super duper difficult problems have been sent in by Ganesh, a funny & self-content three-eye elephant with the purpose of helping me out in my journey. Such though decrease the importance level immediately😊. So next time I will use phrase ces't la vie I will have Ganesha as my mental picture. P.s. Nico, have you posted questions from week 4?😉

Well done everyone! Thank you for all your hard work during this course. I hope you've got a lot out of it. I've got a few things to say in this post, so I'll pop them up now.
1. You can contact me at ncooper.info. The site hasn't been updated for a loooong time, but it has my contacts.
2. If you know anyone who would be interested in this course, then tell them to contact me and I'll let them know next time I hold it.
3. If anyone wants to share contacts with each other, then use this message board. Life is SO much easier when we have some fellow yogis to ask "life questions", and chat about this stuff with.
