"Hello, I am an existing COSMOconf user and looking for clarification on the geographical boundaries of my license. I believe I am restricted to installing the software on machines within 10 km of my office. However, I would like to install COSMOconf on the University of York's computing cluster which is actually situated in the neighboring city of Leeds (over 10 km away). Am I right that I am unable to use a remote machine outside of the 10 km limit? Many thanks"

Share screen

The have such a 10 km restriction in their license agreements

According to the legacy “COSMOlogic” license agreement the 10km limit is a restriction of a “site”. It refers to the physical location of the people/offices of a user group, not the physical location of computers used.
