         <description><![CDATA[<div>As time passed and nothing seemed to change, the Christian view of the end of time took on a different meaning.&nbsp;<br><br>The resurrection still showed the defeat of sin and the eternal separation from God that is symbolized by death.&nbsp;<br><br>However, Christians realised they had to live in the life of the resurrection here on earth, which meant resisting the power of evil and allowed the Holy Spirit to guide them into living by the values and standards that Jesus followed.<br><br>This would prepare them to meet the Son of Man, both when they died and in the final judgement.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
