Quién nos lo iba a decir... En nuestro Sistema Solar existía un planeta cuya existencia desconocíamos hasta ahora. Lo ha descubierto un equipo de astrónomos del Carnegie Institute de Washington, y se trata de un cuerpo celeste de entre 500 y 1000 km de diámetro. Este planeta enano es además el más lejano descubierto hasta la fecha en nuestro sistema planetario, ya que se encuentra tres veces más lejos del Sol que Plutón.

El nuevo planeta ha sido bautizado provisionalmente con el nombre de V774104.
