For some reason I've always been fascinated by jail-based stories. Fear of the long arm of the law finally catching up with me perhaps? This is the first podcast ever to be created and produced inside of a jail (California's Saint Quentin State Prison). The storytelling and editing are top-notch. It was even nominated for a Pulitzer Prize! You could give it a try with the very first episode, 'Cellies'. Some of the topics the podcast touches on can be a little upsetting but these can easily be avoided since there are many episodes with much more light-hearted subject matter.

I’ve never been a big podcast listener, so I was a bit skeptical when I was recommended Sherlock and Co. I put off listening to it for a while, until one day I got bored and decided to give it a try. I’ve been listening to it every week ever since. It’s a modern murder-mystery podcast told through true crime podcaster, John Watson, veteran of the Second Anglo-Afghan War. He and Detective Sherlock Holmes solve mysteries varying from stolen goods to murder. It's really funny and full of action but it can be gruesome at times and contains swearing amongst other things in most episodes (They give trigger warnings in each intro).

The examples are all great and are truly fun and interactive to scroll through. The timelines have concise text and include some stunning (and sometimes 3d) graphics!

Throughout my life, I have always been exposed to the philosophy of my culture. Whether it have been through conversations with my parents, religious experiences or through what I have seen, Jewish philosophy has guided a sizable portion of my decision making with everything. Now, even though I found these concepts boring and unimportant as a child, as I have gotten more and more exposed to the world, I feel I have grown to see the importance of this, which my people have taught with an important teaching called "Kabbalah". Some know it as "the secrets of the Jews" others know it as "The purpose of creation". For me, it is a cornucopia of knowledge, almost like a tutorial that explains both why and how we are here from the perspective of respected Kabbalah teacher Rabbi Bernath who has been teaching Kabbalah for over 15 years. I personally like how this is one of the only Kabbalahs I have found where the author does not speak with a lexical feild comprised of yiddish and ancient quotes of the sages, but rather he uses words and phrases in which most are able to understand (hence the use of "For Everyone" in the name.

I've always been fascinated by space, and black holes are one of the most interesting things about the universe, especially since we don't know how they work yet. The article covers some evidence for a very old theory about the universe that suggests it wasn't made by the big bang. The title is a bit clickbaity but the article's content is still good, and provides a decent explanation of the topic.

PODCAST (Over My Dead Body)

I've always been interested in horror and true crime, so when I found the podcast "Over My Dead Body", it seemed perfect for me. Over My Dead Body is a podcast/series based on true crime. It is composed of 4 parts/seasons. 1: "Tally". 2: "Joe vs Carole". 3: "Fox Lake", and my personal favorite: season 4: "Gone Hunting", which is about a man who goes missing on a hunting trip, though his story and disappearance is nothing like the listener would expect. If you enjoy true crime and horror, I would definitely reccomd that you listen to this podcast.
