Religion plays a huge part in my life. I go to church almost every Sunday, I help out with a lot of the events that we hold, and I try to pray at least a couple times a day (even if its just to thank God for what I have). I have been through a lot in my life and religion and praying have been some of the top things that got me through those tough times. This is what my family speaks and what I grew up learning. In middle school, we had the opportunity of being introduced to German, Spanish, and French. After this experience I decided to take more Spanish classes in high school.  I only went up to Spanish 2 and don't really remember too much besides how to have a basic conversation so I would not be calling myself bilingual! My dad works as a police officer at a department back home while my mom works at this little restaurant that is only open on Friday's (because it is connected to our market place). For the most part, we've had enough money to get buy and even have some big vacations here and there. Even though we don't have the most expensive things or have the biggest house or anything, I loved the way I grew up and the time I spent with my family.
