After reading the passage about David Blaine, I think that the endurance of a human is really unlimited. I am not really good at being patience, I can’t imagine how long can I stay still on a pillar. David Blaine strikes a good balance between being a magician and endurance artist, he became an expert in both career. Every person will meet their own challange in their life, the point is that what would they do to overcome it. In my opinion being brave is a really important thing when you are trying to overcome those challenges. The first step is always the hardest, but also it’s also the the most important.Challenges in our life come without invited, but I challenge myself with something I’m interest with. Such as read an English novel, learn a new language. I believe these challenges can let me become a wiser person.

Hi everyone~ It’s a Friday morning ! It’s my turn to do the test and I’m going to talk about myself with you guys!

I’m 19 years old maybe older than some of you. I’m from Malaysia. A lot of Taiwanese keep asking me why can I speak Chinese like a Taiwanese. Actually, I’ve learn Chinese for my whole life. In Malaysia we have three main races, Chinese, Malay and India. I am a Chinese , I studied in Chinese High School, we usually use Chinese in our daily life. That’s the reason why I can speak in mandarin.

The next thing I am trying to talk about is my hobby! I love to listen to music, especially Kpop. My favorite artist is a boy group called WANNA ONE. They are a temporary boy group. They will disband on December. Their song are really nice and every each of them are really talented ! I think that’s why I am so in love with them!

The another hobby of mine is reading. My favorite book is the Harry Potter serious.

The result of the APA poll shows that Millennials stress more are about work, money, relationship, family responsibilities, and the economy. Besides that, I think the another reason of getting stress is the results of the examination. In China a lot of students think that their most important thing is to get the highest score in the exam. If they didn’t make it, they will feel like there is no future for them, and try to suicide or do something even horrible. There’s a news I read before , it’s about an eight year-old child kill his classmate because he get the first place in the class, and he can’t accept that he is no longer the first place. I think that parent shouldn’t make their child think that the result is the only to judge yourself. They should also teach their children how to deal with stress and learn to face their weakness.

I think superheroes deliver positive images to the audience. But in the same time they conveyed violence too. No matter Superheroes before or now. Of course, Superheroes now is more aggressive but Superheroes before fight with the bad guy too. They made audience think that when there is a problem between people, they can only solve by having a fight. When I was a little girl, I think that superheroes should be kind, polite, with super powers, and have a positive image. But, superhero nowadays? I think some of them should only be name as “people with special power”. Because some of them have bad attitude and not so “HERO”. That’s why I’m not a big fan of avengers and marvel series. But, I admit that some superheroes still developed positive image and moral value to the audience, such as brave, kind, helpful, do good deeds without asking for return, and etc. I believe this part of the superheroes movie is going to be a great role model for the audience. It can even change a person’s life in some way.Last but not least, I think parent is the most important part of making superheroes a good role model by teaching their children to learn the positive part of superheroes. Or maybe, they can be their children’s role model?

Hello everyone, today I’m going to talk about a book called “Harry Potter and the philosopher’s stone”.

The main character of the story is a little boy called Harry Potter. For some reason he has a lightning shape scar on his forehead. When he was just a little boy his parent died, so he has to live with his uncle and aunt, and their son Dudley.

Dudley is so big and rude, he likes to bully Harry just for fun. Poor little harry has to wear Dudley’s old clothes, and use the glasses that already break from the middle. They treat him really bad, Harry live in a small room under the staircase.

But things starts to change when Harry received a letter addressed to him. But before he read it, his uncle took it away from him. They start to run away from the person who sent the letter.

At the night of Harry’s eleventh birthday, a giant man came to harry and tell him “Harry, you’re a wizard.” Harry starts his new journey in the wizarding world and get in to the school of Hogwarts, school of witchcraft and wizardry.

The reason I recommend this book is because there are many translation in different languages. They are also made into movie. I think it is a good way to learn English by reading the original version of the book that I love.
