The total growth rate in Malawi in total is 4%(est.). People in Malawi work in industries, farm, and work in services. Most people work in the services category. The next largest group is farmers followed by industries. The amount of people that are working is 7 million(2013 est.). There is an unemployment rate of 20.4%(2013 est.). The population below the poverty line is 50.7%. Malawi has a debt of $2.102 billion(12/31/17 est.) It's more of a day of mourning death of John Chilembwe , who was the first person killed fighting for malawians freedom.
