• Empower Simcoe (ES) is a community support agency, specifically for individuals diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability. ES focuses on basic assurances, shared values, responsive services, community living and person-centred excellence for both individuals and families.
• Empower Simcoe’s transition coordinator will work with the student, family and school to create a high school to life-after-high school transition plan. This service also includes supporting the individual and family to access all supports available to them in the community.

• Mackenzie Health's Centre for Behaviour Health Sciences provides care for individuals living in Simcoe County who have a developmental disability with a significant cognitive delay, autism or are living with the effects of an acquired brain injury.
• Services are determined by evaluation of needs and may be provided through individual and/or group support.  Behaviour intervention is provided to children and adults through a comprehensive assessment followed by positive-based teaching and programming.  A full range of challenging needs are addressed and include general management issues, aggression, self-injury, skill promotion, and social problem solving.
