Hi there! My name is Ashley Smith, and I’m a junior at SFA University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6. Originally from Houston, Texas, I’m passionate about becoming a teacher to inspire and positively impact young lives. My dedication to education is deeply personal; my son Rylund has autism, and I’m driven to work with children like him, helping them grow and achieve their goals. Outside my studies, I love spending quality time with my kids, playing video games with my husband, hiking, watching anime, painting, and reading. Each activity fuels my creativity and enthusiasm, which I’m eager to bring into my future classroom.
