As we all know Romeo and Juliet were dedicated to be able to live their lives out with each other. This playlist would be playing while they committed to their plan. It would be thought that once they were off leaving their village they would be listening to this playlist while holding hands and running off into the distance. Beforehand Juliet would be listening to this playlist in her room imagining the adventures she and Romeo would go on. This would be Juliet's playlist to remind her of Romeo and to focus on their plan to meet again.

In the play, Juliet says, "O, by this count I shall be much in years/ Ere I again behold my Romeo," (Rom. 3. 5. 46-47). This not only reflects the theme but also reflects the song, "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift. The song talks about waiting for a boy she likes as long as needed. She was so in love with him she knew that she would wait as long as needed in order to capture his love.

This would be a Pinterest board Juliet makes to remind her of the love she and Romeo share. Every pin on this board represents different resemblances of their journey of how their relationship developed.

Balcony - Where Romeo waited for Juliet risking him being seen all so he could visit her, hear her voice, and see her.

Rose - The flower of love represents the strong and beautiful love they share.

The hands - The hands would be their hands brushing together while spending time together reminding them of all the loving memories they have together.

The mask - This represents where they first met each other and locked eyes. How everything started leading to such a tragic end. "O, she doth teach the torches so bright!/It seems she hang upon the cheek of night/Like a rich jewel in an Ethiope's ear;/Beauty too rich for use, for earth too dear!"(1.5.4-7).

The people - The people together are them running away together living out their dream of the freedom they always wished for.

The writing - The writing is straightforward. It shows little phrases that show what they would do for each other. How much they will do to be able to be together.

Throughout Romeo and Juliet is can be seen that the rivalry between Romeo and Tybalt is strong. It can also be noted of how emotional Romeo gets about almost everything. He is also a very loving person and not very head strong. When in love he does a lot of irrational things that lead to him feeling upset. He always jumps at the wheel and that never works out in his favor. This award would specifically be presented by Tybalt because of their rivalry and how he views Romeo as a distasteful person.

After Juliet refused to marry Paris because she was secretly married to Romeo she couldn't tell her Father that was the reason why. So, she had to go behind his back and argued with her Father about not marrying Paris for different reasons. This caused their relationship weaken and for Juliet to get screamed at. Juliet then went behind her Father's back to make an elaborate plan to be able to live a happy life with Romeo. Going behind her parents back was likely one of the worst decisions she could've made as it costed her not only her life but also Romeo's. Though, in the moment she thought this was the best decision she could've made to grow old with the love of her life. "I pray you tell my lord and father, madam, I will not marry yet, and, when I do, I swear it shall be Romeo, whom you know I hate, Rather than Paris,"(3.5.121-123).

Juliet has a tough life as a woman living in the 1500s. She had little freedom to do as she pleased. Shakespeare writes, "...go with Paris to Saint Peter's Church, Or I will drag thee on a hurdle thither" (Rom.3.5.154-155). Capulet was forcing Juliet to marry Paris and was threatening her if she wouldn't. women belonged to their fathers and then there husbands. They couldn't disobey. Juliet defied her fathers words and he blew up in her face. In this menu, I listed foods that show examples of her lack of freedom.

Romeo constantly showed his dramatic and romantic personality throughout the play. Shakespeare writes, "O, I am a fortune fool...Then I defy you, stars" (Rom.5.3.56-57). Romeo was speaking to Juliet. In his words and acts, he gives us examples of how dramatic he really is. In this recipe, I use words like hopeless, crybaby, and dramatic to describe Romeos character.

After romeo and Juliet's wedding, Romeo kills tybalt in a duel. Here, I have created what I think Juliet would wear to his funeral. Shes wearing a women's suit and a fedora. In the play Juliet was so distressed from his death. Shakespeare writes, "Citizens are up, and Tybalt slain. If thou art taken" (Rom.3.1.30-31). Juliet was distraught that her new husband has just slain her cousin. On one hand, it's her husband who she loves but on the other he just killed her loved one. She doesn't know how to feel.
