Like a blade of grass

Strong as a tree with solid roots

I wake up every spring

with the chirping of birds vibrant with life.

 

Superb for lush leaves

I look up to the sky.

 

A small worn out blade of grass

from the heat of summer

brings me back to reality.

 

I am myself a grain of sand carried by the wind,

a clod of earth trampled by an indefinite footprint,

a small ant greedy of crumbs.

 

Everything around belongs to me and I belong to everything.

The swarm of life that I ignore deaf in the daily noise it's part of me,

it is the place of my departure and

of my return.

You’re wrecking my long green hair

You’re clouding my eyes full of white stars with your black fumes

You’re erasing me

But, I won’t let you 

I will not burn.

we must taking care of the natural scenery.

Haven’t you heard of forest fires yet?

Now you’ll understand, you can bet.

Forest fires is a common phenomenon today,

and that we should send away.

when a fire happen in a wood,

we know that it isn't good.

now, a lot of land is burning 

and the world is slowly dying.

woods are the lungs of the world,

they need help by people from all over the world.

starting with our mistakes,

we can solve this,

in fact if we can dream it,

we can do it.

I can’t move.

I feel trapped in the flames,

in the fumes around the leaves

and everything around me fades.

 

I can’t speak.

All I can hear are the animals

screaming and crying for help,

trees turning into ashes.

 

Finally, the fire has gone,

nothing left behind,

but a sense of loneliness

and a lifeless planet.

 

Nature is screaming,

but we are not listening.

Nature is dying

and we are killing it.

In the shade of the green shelter I found

Walking in the woods I watched the nature

How beautiful, immense and majestic

With the branches of the trees that

They seemed to pose

 

The sun shone in the sky,

The wind rustled through the leaves

The rain was pouring down

Yet nothing troubled 

That great little enchanted world

 

One day though 

When I walked in 

I saw something

that didn’t seem normal:

Heat unimaginable 

 

The trees were screaming 

They whispered to each other

Mangled they begged for help

The same though that day

they tried to shield me

 

I couldn’t help them

I couldn’t save them

But all the same I brought home a piece of them,
That was also a piece of me:

A seed of hope

to touch the sky

The trees don’t know 

that’s thanks to them that everyone is here

The trees make loads of fruits

giving us food and a beautiful place to live

The trees are now like cigarettes,

they burn but no one cares ‘bout them

The trees are now suffering 

and we are the cause

“The trees are now only in a few places”

before they said this about us

If trees could think now they'd be scared to live.

A canvas of colors, bright and bold,

Her fields of green and oceans blue,

A paradise, for me and you.

The mountains high, the valleys low,

A place of peace, where we can go,

To find ourselves, to clear our mind,

And leave the world's worries behind.

The rivers flow, their song so sweet,

A melody of life, a timeless beat,

Their waters pure, their life so free,

A gift from nature, for all to see.
